<p>Emeritus Professor Marian Pitts was Director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS), La Trobe University, from 2000-2013. As Director, Marian was responsible for building and directing a multi-disciplinary team. She has co-authored five books and published over 150 journal articles.</p> <p>Marian has held numerous NHMRC and ARC nationally competitive grants and has been a member of NHMRC Discipline Panels. She was a member of the Australian Research Council College of Experts; and chaired the Social, Behavioural and Economic Sciences panel. She was a panel Chair for ERA, 2010.</p>
