Jenny Stewart

• Jenny Stewart is Professor Emeritus at Griffith University. From 2005 to 2016, she was Professor of Accounting in the Griffith Business School, holding roles of Deputy Head of Department and Discipline Head for Accounting. Jenny has more than 90 refereed and professional publications and more than 60 conference presentations in the areas of accounting, corporate governance and auditing. From 2006 to 2013, she was Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Auditing and she has served on the editorial boards of several top-tiered journals including Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Accounting Horizons and International Journal of Accounting. She has been successful in obtaining external grant income from the ARC as well as from professional bodies in accounting and finance. Jenny is an experienced PhD supervisor and continues to act as a mentor and advisor to many of her former students.
